Lighting it up BLUE:)

April is Autism Awareness Month.

We all know someone affected by autism and spectrum disorders. Our sons. Our daughters.
1 in 88. 1 in 54 boys. Too many.

Parenthood is different when you are raising a children on the spectrum. You become wise in ways you never even knew existed. It is a gift and an honor, but it is different. The meaning of life is different. The celebration of a milestone is different. The parties are different. The menus are different. The activities are different. But they are also very much the same, in that, we all love beautiful parties, unique ideas and and happy children.

I designed this small shoot to spread autism awareness, understanding and advocacy. Lighting it up BLUE  to let the world know that we support the autism awareness cause, we have been personally touched by this puzzling disorder and are helping to make changes for all of our children.

Some of the most gracious, beautiful and selfless women created this inspirational shoot and I thank them from the bottom of my heart. Some of them are Mamas of children on the spectrum and I am honored to be a part of such special group to share in something so personally meaningful.

These women inspire beauty, goodness and graciousness. Please "like" their pages and show your support.

Beyond beautiful! Everyone did such a fabulous job! Love every single detail. Thank you Kristy for letting me a part of this gorgeous shoot, but most of all thank you for always being there for me, there is comfort in knowing you are not alone on this journey and when I find other mamas like you that just "get it" I embrace them with all of my heart! <3 you!
